Chocolate Nativity Scene.

Galleros Artesanos de Rute is a family business that dates back more than ninety years when Loreto Garrido followed in the professional footsteps of her parents, who were engaged in the confectionery industry. Gradually, 'Lore and his wife Dolores', with much effort and enthusiasm, worked diligently in the artisanal production of sweets, among which the increasingly well-known and appreciated piononos and puff pastries stood out. They were the ones who instilled in their children the art of traditional pastry, made with supremely high-quality products. Jorge, Ramón, and Victoria, along with a highly professional team, enable this company to be competitive in the market without losing an ounce of quality in its sweets.

One of the greatest attractions that visitors will find in Rute is enjoying the Christmas sweets of our town. Galleros Artesanos undoubtedly offers one of the most comprehensive selections, and it is not an exaggeration to say that in Rute, mentioning Galleros evokes the taste of sweetness.

In this company, you will have the opportunity to visit the largest chocolate Nativity scene in Spain. It recreates streets, temples, characters, and scenes from the daily life that Jesus Christ experienced at the time of his birth, each year inspired by different locations. Some curiosities about its creation include the more than 1,500 kg of chocolate used in its making, the approximately 4 months it takes to build it on a surface of 52 m2, and the 7 master pastry chefs from Galleros Artesanos who participate in its production.

Every year, Galleros Artesanos presents new and sweet constructions made of chocolate. Our master craftsmen are always alert to themes, events, etc., that interest or amuse both adults and children.

Open during the months of October, November, and December.
